The pattern being formed is such that the number before the plus sign is being multipled to the sum of the number after the plus sign and 1. For example, 1 * (4 + 1) = 5. 2 * (5 + 1) = 12. 3 * (6 + 1) = 21. Applying the same principle for the given question, 8 * (11 + 1) = 8 * 12 = 96.Hope this helps.
