How does slop of land influnc soil?

A steeper slope means running water will be able to move faster, thus cutting more into the land. It will also mean looser soil is likely to be washed away, or simply fall under gravity. Additionally, some plants may not be able to anchor on steeper slope, hence the soil is looser.
