Explanation:

The indigenous people had all sorts of new fruits, vegetables, and animals.  The europeans had animals that were not known by native people.  Things like peanuts, turkeys, pineapples, cacao beans, and vanilla were traded for european goods such as wheat, cows, pigs, sheep, horses, barley, bananas, etc.  Although, natives got unfamiliar diseases brought by sailors.
