The reason that some states have enacted laws banning or limiting the use of tobacco, most likely, is that they are interested in promoting good health and having prosperous society. It was proven that the use of tobacco has certain negative effects in the body not only to the one using but also to the people around. The states which support the limiting and that banning of tobacco just want to protect and preserve the health of their people.
