Finding the slope using two points:

The formula for slope is

[tex]\frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}}[/tex]

In this case...

[tex]y_{2} =10\\y_{1} =-5\\x_{2} =8\\x_{1} =8[/tex]

^^^Plug these numbers into the formula for slope...

[tex]\frac{10-(-5)}{8-8[/tex]

[tex]\frac{15}{0}[/tex]

Your slope is undefined. This means that you line is vertical

Hope this helped!
