thus the given equation is a linear equation in two variables ...

thus ploting a table we get as ...

y = -5x + 3

there fore

1) at y=0 , x = 3/5 .... 0 = -5x +3

= -5x = -3 ..thus X = 3/5

2) at x=0 , y= 3 ...

y = -5 (0) + 3 = 3

3) at X =1 , y = -2

4) at y=1 , x = 2/5
