[tex] {8}^{ \frac{5}{3} } \\ = { ({2}^{3} )}^{ \frac{5}{3} } \\ = {2}^{3 \times \frac{5}{3} } \\ = {2}^{5} \\ = 32. [/tex]

Here, we have converted 8 to 2³.

Then, we have used formula (a^m) ^n = a^mn.
