The Texas-New Mexico agreement was in 1850 to establish the northern and western boundaries for Texas as well as a territorial Government for New Mexico. In the term conditions it was set the boundaries of Texas’s commerce, Texas state cedes the claim of its exterior territory to the US, Texas also had to quit to claim for the responsibility of its debt to the US and because all of this actions the State of Texas agreed to do, the US will pay the state with a stock.
