1. 4x-3y=1, -8x+6y=-2

2. -x+2y=21, 5x+6y=23

For problem #1, multiply each variable in 4x-3y=1 by 2, and that should give you 8x+6y=2 which cancels out -8x+6y=-2. And for problem #2 you’ll need to find a numbers to multiply each equation so they cancel each other out
