So since 1 multiplied by a number or variable, the number always stays the same we can say that 1(x-5)=x-5. We then, can open the parenthesis for 13*-3x+13*12. The answer for that would be -39x+156. So we then know that x-5-39x+156. We can simplify this until -38x+151.
