Hey there!!

Given:

g(x) = 8x - 7

Given that g(x) is 25.

Hence,

... 25 = 8x - 7

Let's add 7 on both sides:

... 25 + 7 = 8x

... 32 = 8x

Let's now divide both sides by 8.

... x = 32/8

... x = 4

Hence, the answer is 4.
