what is the solution to the equations 2x+3y=6 and x-3y=9

2x + 3y = 6

-2            -2

3y = -2x + 6

Divide by 3 on all sides:

y = -2/3x + 2

Answer - y = -2/3x + 2

x - 3y = 9

-x          -x

-3y = -x + 9

Divide by -3 on all sides:

y = 1/3x - 3

Answer - y= 1/3x - 3
