Solve the equation n+5 divided by -16 = -1

move the negative sign to the left then multiplying both sides by 16.

simplify 1 times 16 and then adding 5 to both sides.

again simplify -16 plus 5 to -11

multiplying both sides by -1

so making n+5 divided by -16 equal -1

is : 11
