The weight of any mass is m

(the mass) x (gravity in the place where the mass is located)

so it actually depends on where the mass is when you weigh it.

The acceleration of gravity on the Moon is 1.6 m/s², so 107Kg of mass weighs

(107 kg) x (1.6 m/s²) = 171.2 Newtons, on the Moon.

On the other hand, the acceleration of gravity on Earth is 9.81 m/s², so on Earth, the same 107 kg of mass weighs

(107 kg) x (9.81 m/s²) = 1,049.7 Newtons.
