Hi there!

To find a discount you need to covert the percentage to a decimal and multiply it by the selling price, then take the product of that and subtract it from the selling price, like so:

60% is 0.6 as a decimal

$139.50 × 0.6 = $83.70

$139.50 - $83.70 = $55.80
