-2x + 3y = -3 ---------- (1)
-2x - 5y = -75 -------- (2)
(1)-(2)
(-2x - (-2x)) + (3y - (-5y)) = -3 - (-75)
(-2x + 2x) + (3y + 5y) = -3 + 75
0 + 8y = 72
8y = 72
y = 72 ÷ 8
y = 9

let y = 9 in (2)
-2x - 5(9) = -75
-2x - 45 = -75
-2x = -75 + 45
-2x = -30
2x = 30
x = 30 ÷ 2
x = 15

The answer is x = 15 and y = 9
