DNA stands for deoxyribonucleic acid. It's the fundamental genetic material of all cells, and is presented in the nucleus of the cell where it forms parts of the chromosomes, and acts as the carrier of genetic information. It's also doubled stranded whereas, RNA is only one stranded. Nonetheless, RNA stands for ribonucleic acid. It's presented in both the cytoplasm and nucleus of the cells. Alongside DNA, it's essential of the genetic coding.
