2 for the number of quarters they put in per day

t for the number of days

6+2(6)=18

Let the number of coins added (including the first day and the 6th day) = T (total)

Let the number of days = x

T = 6 + 2n Answer

Now what you want is n = 6

T = 6 + 2*6

T = 18
