Prob (8) = 4/52 = 1/13

Prob(Queen) = 4/52 = 1/13

Prob ( 8 then a queen) = 1/13 * 1/13 = 1/169 answer

The probabilities are multiplied beause the 2 events are independent

There are four 8's and four Queens in a deck of cards. A standard deck has 52 cards total. If you are replacing the cards, then the total number ofbcards does not diminish when choosing the Queen.

4/52 x 4/52 = 16/2704
