The industrial revolution gave a huge advantage to the countries that became industrialized over the countries that were not, because the industrialized countries were now able to produce much more, for much less time, and it also enabled them to develop much quicker in every segment, including the science, which contributed to creating new inventions all the time and thus making the country's technology superior to the rest pf the world.
