This is false

Although he was assassinated, his plans were continued by Andrew Johnson who inherited the position of the President after the assassination. Although most of the plans were the same, Johnson did introduce a few changes to it but nothing too drastic. He did not have the support of the congress over these plans and they tried to impeach him.
