The region that loses the most population on the North American continent is its eastern part, which comes as the north eastern part of the USA, and the south eastern part of Canada. In Canada this is the only region that is actually declining in population, the province called New Brunswick, while in the USA this is one of the two regions with declining populations, the other being the Midwest.
