A researcher wants to investigate the factors that influence employee performance in the public 
sector. Upon review of the related literature the following three factors were revealed; 
employee satisfaction, employee motivation and quality assurance. The objectives of the study 
are to:
• Examine the association between employee performance and the identified factors.
• Determine whether there are differences in employee performance of male and female 
employees.
• Estimate the effect of employee satisfaction, employee motivation and quality assurance 
on employee performance.
